Oktoberfest

"A three-legged dachshund named Longfellow runs to the finish line to win a race at the Annual Savannah Wiener Dawg Races Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, in Savannah, Ga. Longfellow missed last year's races after being hit by a car and losing one of his hind legs. After recovering for the year, Longfellow joined more than 175 dachshunds from around the South to compete for prizes during races at the Oktoberfest Festival on the Historic River Street Waterfront." HAHA! Weiner dogs are funny, especially when they run. I can't imagine 175 of them running. What does it say about the state of weiner dogs in America that a three-legged dog won?!
a)weiner dogs are out of shape
b)4-legged weiner dogs just don't have the drive
c)weiner dogs don't actually use/need their 4th leg

Hey watch it, Hurricane! We have a weiner dog back in VT named Brandy. Just because she and I don't have freakishly long legs like you with 'show muscles' doesn't mean we're lacking drive or are outta shape. We utilize our 4th legs...
