Back to Burke

I went up to Burke to visit my home away from home. It was as beautiful as ever. Everything is so green!! This is the Willoughby Gap, a trademark of the Northeast Kingdom. There is a lake in the middle; to the right is Mt. Pisgah and the left is Mt. Hor.

Here's the ski hill and lodge, equipped with a rickety old poma, forever run by Ritchie and Darlene. It's a steep pitch, and the best training hill you will ever ski.

I couldn't have asked for a better high school experience. I'd like to work here some day...
